STATUTORY SURVEYS

Inspection/ audits and issuance of certificates on behalf of Flag State Administrations
Technical personnel of IMC GROUP P.C., are proper qualified in compliance with IMO Resolution A.789 (18)/ certified, and continuously trained (in house and by attending training seminars), with respect to the latest maritime regulations.
As a result of the above, they have been approved as “Surveyors/ Auditors” from a number “Recognized Organizations”, and are fully authorized to perform surveys-audits and issue relative statutory certificates on behalf of Flag State Administration.

CLASS SURVEYS

Inspection on behalf of Classification Societies
Although Classification services are not mandatory, under the International Maritime Organization regime, they are a valuable insurance tool for the shipping community.

IMC GROUP P.C., provides Classification services (through constituted collaboration agreements with “Classification Societies”) in accordance with the Rules & Regulations of the Classification Societies.

IMC GROUP P.C., technical personnel, have been assigned as “Class Surveyors”, and are authorized to attend vessels, perform surveys and issue class certificates.

M/V “PACIFIC HIGHWAY” 2016
MV ‘’PACIFIC HIGHWAY’’ collided with MV ‘’LUDWIG SCHULTE’’ off Ras Umm El-Nabayil on February 2015. MV ‘’PACIFIC HIGHWAY’’ sailed from Suez Canal to Alexandria. Vehicle carrier MV ‘’PACIFIC HIGHWAY’’, IMO: 9206023, registered in Panama and was built in 2000.
M/V “SUNROAD YATSUKSA” 2014
M/V “SUNROAD YATSUKSA” collided with general cargo vessel GIANT OCEAN in the Kanmon Strait, Inner Japan Sea on February 2014. M/V “SUNROAD YATSUKSA” was en route from Moji to Posyet. M/V “SUNROAD YATSUKSA”, IMO: 9317274, registered in Panama and was built in 2005.
M/T “CS CRANE” 2013
M/V “BARU SATU” 2013
M/V ‘’BARU SATU’’ collided with vessel M/V KATERINE in Aegean Sea, near Andros Island on July 2013. MV ‘’BARU SATU’’ was en route from Brazil to Bulgaria, Black sea. M/V ‘’BARU SATU’’, IMO: 9233624, registered in Panama and was built in 2001.
M/V “MSC MAGNIFICA” 2013
M/V ‘’MSC MAGNIFICA’’ allied with the left breakwater entering Piraeus port on November 2013. Cruise liner M/V ‘’MSC MAGNIFICA’’, IMO: 9387085, registered in Panama and was built in 2010.
M/V “ERK” 2011
M/V ‘’ERK’’ collided with vessel M/V ‘’STELLAR GRACE’’ while navigating at Parana River on February 2011. MV ‘’ERK’’ was en route from San Pedro, Argentina to Mersin Turkey. M/V ‘’ERK’’, IMO: 8313386, registered in Panama and was built in 1984.
M/V “MOUNT ATHOS” 2010
M/V ‘’MOUNT ATHOS’’ collided with vessel M/V ‘’ALMOSTRAFA’’ near Geyikova island, Turkey on September 2010. M/V ‘’MOUNT ATHOS’’ was en route from Piraeus port to Geyikova Island. M/V ‘’MOUNT ATHOS’’, IMO: 7800136, registered in Panama and was built in 1986.

Sunk Investigation

M/V “TIAN YUN” 2013
M/V “TIAN YUN” was abandoned by the crew members; due to water ingress in cargo holds on October 2010 at Taiwan straight. General cargo M/V “TIAN YUN”, IMO: 8920270, registered in Panama and was built in 1991.
M/V “DILI STAR” 2010
M/V “DILI STAR” (IMO No 8920270), was abandoned by the crewmembers on 19th OCT /2010 on 00:30 hrs at Taiwan strait (approx. 30’ west of Chi Mei Yu Island – (23-14N 118-54E)), due to listing caused by heavy weather & high seas.

M/V “NEW KATERINA” 2016
M/V “NEW KATERINA’’ ran aground in Suez Canal on February 2016. M/V “NEW KATERINA’’ was en route from Yuzhniy, Ukraine to Qingdao, China. M/V “NEW KATERINA’’, IMO: 9138953, registered in Panama and was built in 1997.
M/V “NEW MYKONOS” 2016
M/V “NEW MYKONOS” ran aground in southern Madagascar on February 2016. M/V “NEW MYKONOS” was en route from Richards Bay SAR to Vizag, India. M/V “NEW MYKONO”, IMO: 9135688, registered in Panama and was built in 1997.
M/V “SUAT BEY” 2014
M/V “SUAT BEY” ran aground entering port of Nea Moudania, Greece on May 2014. M/V “SUAT BEY” was en route from Abu Qir, Egypt to Nea Moudania, Greece. M/V “SUAT BEY”, IMO: 9070515, registered in Panama and was built in 1993.
M/V “BRIGHT ROYAL” 2013
M/V “BRIGHT ROYAL” ran aground on rocks, off Vietnamese island Ly Son on October 2013. M/V “BRIGHT ROYAL” was en route from Taiwan to Vung Ang, Vietnam. M/V “BRIGHT ROYAL”, IMO: 8406913, registered in Panama and was built in 1985.
M/V “NOVA D” 2013
M/V “NOVA D” ran aground on rocks, at Amac pier in Turkey on March 2013. M/V “NOVA D” was en route from to Karadeniz Eregli port, Turkey to Amac pier. M/V “NOVA D”, IMO: 8007078, registered in Panama and was built in 1981.
M/V “FGM COMMANDER” 2011
M/V “FGM COMMANDER” ran aground on rocks, south of the island Dokos and west of the island Hydra in Greece on November 2011. M/V “FGM COMMANDER” was on voyage from Elefsis port, Greece to Bejaia, Algeria. M/V “FGM COMMANDER”, IMO: 8322193, registered in Panama and was built in 1985.

Machinery Failure Investigation

M/V “TAI AN” 2013
M/V “TAI AN” suffered breakdown of main engine and dropped anchor waiting for towing at Sulu Sea on March 2013. M/V “TAI AN” was in a voyage from Singapore to Bohol island. M/V “TAI AN”, IMO: 8400529, registered in Panama and was built in 1985.
M/V “FRANCONIA” 2013
M/V “FRANCONIA” suffered mechanical failure on May 2013 in Saronic Gulf. M/V “FRANCONIA” was in route from Turkey to Piraeus port. Car carrier M/V “FRANCONIA”, IMO: 8415794, registered in Panama and was built in 1985.

M/V ‘’ZEUS I’’ suffered from the missing (man overboard) of a crewmember on May 2017 off Zomma Commun port. M/V ‘’ZEUS I’’ was en route from San Lorenzo, Argentine to Saganoseki, Japan. M/V ‘’ZEUS I’’, IMO: 9467885, registered in Panama and was built in 2009.

M/V “PRIMROSE ACE” suffered the missing of one crewmember on April 2016, off the coast of Portugal. M/V “PRIMROSE ACE” was on a voyage from Antwerp, Belgium to Suez, Egypt. M/V “PRIMROSE ACE”, IMO: 9355185, registered in Liberia and was built in 2007.
M/V “GROWING” 2014
M/V “GROWING” suffered the “man overboard” of one crewmember on April 2014 at Vanino port. M/V “GROWING” was en route from Taipei port, Taiwan to Vanino port, Russia. M/V “GROWING”, IMO: 8307557, registered in Panama and was built in 1984.
M/T “ASPAM SAMRAT” 2013
On January 2013, M/T “ASPAM SAMRAT” suffered “dead crew members in enclosed space”, approximated 165 NM for Grate Nicobar. M/T “ASPAM SAMRAT”, IMO: 9184055, registered in Panama and was built in 1999.
M/V “KUROBE” 2013
An explosion took place on board of M/V ‘’KUROBE’’ off Mumbai on September 2013, and that has a result the fatally injured of a crewmember. M/V ‘’KUROBE’’ was en route from Abu Dhabi to Singapore. Bulk carrier M/V ‘’KUROBE’’, IMO: 9392171, registered in Panama and was built in 2010.
M/V “IRON PHOENIX” 2013
M/V “IRON PHOENIX” suffered from the missing (man overboard) of a crewmember on January 2013 approximately at East China Sea. M/V “IRON PHOENIX” had as final destination the Rizhao port of China. M/V “IRON PHOENIX”, IMO: 9500766, registered in Panama and was built in 2012.
